Let’s Study Again
The case of Paras Salvi, age 21, a resident of Rupakhedi village in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan speaks for itself who is now a beneficiary of Second Chance Education Program. She lives in a family of 9 members. The family’s financial position is not good, and her parents are illiterate. At an age of 12 her family forced her to marry and early marriage proved to be a barrier which didn’t let her study further. But these hurdles couldn’t change her mindset. She had the plans to pursue her education and was just waiting for the right opportunity. Opportunity in the form of Second Chance Education Program knocked her door after Manjari Foundation intervened in the area and guess what?? She got her name enrolled at NIOS for 10th standard exam. “I have the plans to enter make a carrer in Civil Services and I will try my level best to ensure that this dream becomes a reality”, says an aspiring Paras Salvi. An enthusiastic Paras further adds, “Let’s Study Again”.
