We are happy to announce our partnership with Ashoka (Ashoka: Innovators for the public) a district of Columbia non-profit corporation registered as a public charity under section 501 (c)3.  This initiative will support 2500 women farmers for promoting sustainable  livelihoods.

The objective of the initiative

  • To enable women producers to access the market and introduce vegetable cultivation and goatry as a resilient livelihood
  • Impacting 2500 women farmers through market linkages and access to capital
  • Improving the technical knowledge and scientific health practices among goat rearing families

 Outreach and target geography

The project will be implemented in Dholpur and Chittorgarh districts of Rajasthan. The project will outreach the 2500 marginal women farmers.

The project objectives are aligned with #SDG 1 (No poverty), 2 (Zero Hunger), 5 (Gender Equality), 8 (Decent Work and economic Growth) and 13 (Climate Action). The project is aligned with the major program of the Central and State governments related to agriculture and livestock development. The program aims to create a transformative impact in the lives of rural families through addressing critical bottlenecks of access to working capital and market.
